1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using falatheo, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part, do not use the service.

2. What is falatheo

falatheo is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) system that helps people with speech difficulties express themselves through symbols, phrases and routines. It consists of:

• the free mobile app for iOS and Android, which works offline;
• the web platform (falatheo.com.br), with portals for parents, professionals and clinics.

3. Price

The falatheo app is free and contains no ads or mandatory in-app purchases. The premium neural voice is an optional and free download, performed only once on the device.

4. Proper use

You agree to use falatheo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. If you create an account on the web platform, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activities performed on it.

5. Content and symbols

You retain rights to content you create (boards, phrases and settings). ARASAAC symbols that may be used are made available free of charge by their authors under ARASAAC's own terms, for non-commercial use with attribution.

6. Important health disclaimer

falatheo is a communication support tool; it is not a medical device and does not replace evaluation, diagnosis or therapy by speech-language pathologists, therapists or other healthcare professionals. Clinical decisions should always involve professional guidance.

7. Limitation of liability

falatheo is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

8. App stores

Download through the App Store and Google Play is also subject to Apple's and Google's terms. In case of conflict regarding app distribution, the rules of the respective store prevail.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you agree with the current version, as indicated by the date at the top of this page.
